Stanley & Seaforts is a steak, chop, and fish house located in Tacoma with panoramic views overlooking downtown and Commencement Bay harbor. This place is date-night material for sure, as the pricing is a little higher, but for good reason; it’s fancy! WildFin American Grill

Another prime location to bring a hot date. Wildfin is located on the beautiful Tacoma waterfront and boasts some exquisite seafood cuisine. Cooks Tavern

Affordable bar and eatery located in the Proctor neighborhood of North Tacoma. Open promptly at 8 am for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails seven days a week, you’ll never be disappointed at this spot. Even more, interestingly, they provide a menu celebrating the food of the Americas with a healthy shot of comfort foods you may recognize.  You can find everything from a Cuban Mariscado, to a Québécois Poutine, to a slow braised Chilean Carne Machada. Either way, you never know what you might find a love for at Cooks amidst your drinks and french fries.

Dirty Oscars Annex

Perfect for a night out with friends or family, Dirty Oscars is the place with the funny name, yet seriously yummy food. Affordable dishes and very creative cocktails are the name of the game at this place. Their menu offers new American dishes such as chicken and waffles and delicious sliders. The atmosphere of this place is way chill and we often find ourselves here on a relaxing evening.

Southern Kitchen

On the hunt for choice soul food? Look no further than Southern Kitchen to satisfy your down-home needs. These guys are located in the Hilltop neighborhood of Tacoma and have all the local atmosphere that some parts of the Waterfront area no longer permeate. They’re best known for southern fried chicken, catfish, cornbread stuffing, fried okra, macaroni & cheese, peach cobbler, and bread pudding to name a few.

Everything is made from scratch here and you’ll never leave with an even remotely empty stomach. This place was even featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives with Guy Fieri!
